Contestants Eligibility for Teen Competition:

Miss Columbus Teen Application

Age/Education Eligibility: 
  • must be at least 13 years of age by check in day of the state pageant.
  • Can be no older than 17 years of age as of Aug. 31, 2018.
  • Must not be eligible to compete on the miss level in the Miss America Program at any point during the current pageant year.

Residency Requirements:

  • Must Reside in one of the following counties in Georgia: Muscogee, Harris, Talbot, Troup, Meriwether, Chattahoochee, Sumter, Taylor, Webster, Marion, Stewart, Schley, Calhoun, Quitman, Upson, Macon, Heard, Carroll, Randolph, and Clay.

Guidelines for Areas of Competition:


  • Talent presentations must not exceed 90 seconds
  • Only the contestant will be permitted on stage during her talent presentation. No other person can be part of her presentation.
  • Talent presentations must be performed live

Private Interview:
  • Contestants will wear a dress, pantsuit or other attire suitable for a job interview. The interview will be “panel-style” with the questions asked in “press conference style” by the judges. The judge asking the first question is determined before the interview begins and, after that question, there is no pre-determined order of questions. Any judge may ask a question at any time.

Evening Wear:
  • Contestants select evening gown, cocktail-type pantsuit, or other evening wear attire suitable to the individual contestant.

Physical Fitness:
  • Contestants will wear black shorts that she would work out in and a fitness t-shirt or tank top. 

On-Stage Question
  • Contestants will be asked one question.


  1. (in case of two requests for the same music, the contestant whose form is received first will be allowed to use the music if the talent is the same style)
  2. Contestant Photo ( 300dpi jpeg) to be used on social media and website  Please email the jpeg to [email protected]
  3. Music MP3 (Email all music prior to the pageant; CD to be brought to rehearsal; music cannot exceed 90 seconds in time)
  4. Proof of Residency (driver's license or school transcript, etc.)
  5. Birth Certificate
  6. Check or cash for entry fee in the amount of $100.  Checks to be made payable to the Miss Columbus Scholarship Pageant.
